Lunch Time Haul

My biggest one time pickup. About 750 albums with some great titles. This is the back seat of the car not including what is in the trunk or the front seat. I have not had a chance to go through it yet but some of the big artist that I saw while loading: Beatles, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Doors lots of metal, AC/DC Sabath, Ozzy etc. Total paid $125.

Hopefully they're in good shape, and not in post-frisbee condition.....

Yep... you did do good.. lots of good titles it appears.. glad I didn't see it first.. I would have cried knowing I wouldn't be able to go get them..

I just picked up a stack of 50 and went through them and from this small sampling I would say that close to half are keepers. I found 2 copies of the white album already.

Yowsa!!

Oh thats sweet...

dude.

sweet.

Your gonna be just like me soon nice haul I use Honky Chateau fro testing systems, very well recorded, I dig how you can hear Sir Elton stomp the pedals and the bite on the horns!!

Now you do!

Damn! nice score!

I'm surprised how hard it's been to find beatles albums in all the lots I've bought, and places I've looked.. especially considering how many were sold... but yet I can find at least 5 copies of Carol King Tapistry every where I look.. eeerrr....

Dude what a haul man, I have been tryin for 2-3 years to get albums like that but all I ever come across is stuff of no interest i have 120 albums and thats what 2-3 years of collecting has brought me!

Shawn

I do have to say, from what I've seen here on the forum about what kind of album scores people get, it appears out here in the DC area seems to be one of the best places... I've not gotten anyting as large as this, but I have gotten some nice lots of 100 or more with lots of great titles...

I was just shopping CL a bit ago, and there are a few really nice lots that have been up for sale... but nothing as good a deal as this one was..
