Opportunity to buy Bamp;W 802's
Guy wants 450 US, They look like they are in great shape, i think i am goign to go pick them up tomorrow. Any thoughts? They are the older Series 80 model.I saw the ad and was interested as well. I think they are a great deal at that price. They are a small step down from the current 802s, which goes for enormous $$$. And they have a wonderful reputation in their own right. Bring some source material you like, since speaker beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder, but barring something drastically wrong I think they are a steal.

But yeah i hope he has them hooked up to something. If not the best i can do is my new 15$ radioshack amp ( from that thread here) and an mp3 player.

Of course I want to help out the poor college kid! Plus, I have a very sick relative who I am tending to, which will keep me from heading that far north. But don't get any false sense of security, since I am probably not the primary competition. There are more than a few Metro NYC flippers who might take an interest.
